Our day of departure for Kigali, Rwanda has finally arrived.  Some days it felt like it would never come and on other days it felt like it was coming to quickly.  Packing, weighing our lugguge, repacking, weighing, adding more chocolate to bring (we each confess a secret chocolate addiction) reweighing, taking chocolate out and eating it, debating: deodarant or chocolate to pack- I may not be smelling the greatest for some time- But we are here.

We are so thankful for all the support we have received from so many.  The prayers, financial gifts and words of encouragment have been incredible and we have been so blessed.  We are excited to see how God will continue to lead in His work in and through us.

We fly out from Toronto this evening with a short stop in Amsterdam and then we continue on to Kigali, arriving at 7pm tomorrow evening.  We are looking forward to being able to share with you stories and experiences and we will continue to use this blog.

Thanks again for all your support, prayers and your desire to be connected to us as we spend the next half year in Rwanda.
